About Coaching

No and the distinction matters. Therapy explores the past to understand and heal the present. Coaching works with the present to build the future. The Quiet Shift draws on evidence-based disciplines; nervous system science, identity development theory, behaviour change research and applies them practically. If deeper therapeutic work is indicated during our time together, I will always say so and can signpost appropriate support.

Not at all and in fact the women who get the most from this work are usually not in crisis. They are functional, capable and aware that something needs to shift. You do not need to be falling apart to deserve support. You simply need to be ready for genuine change.
Most coaching starts with goals and works backward. The Quiet Shift starts with your nervous system and works forward. Without a regulated physiological foundation, identity work does not hold and self-leadership practices dissolve under pressure. The sequence is the thing that makes the difference and it is the thing most approaches miss entirely.
This is worth exploring in a discovery call. In my experience, previous coaching that did not hold usually missed one or more of three things; the nervous system foundation, the depth of identity work, or the self-leadership architecture to sustain the changes. None of those is a reflection on your commitment. They are gaps in the approach.

A genuine 20-minute conversation. We talk about where you are, what the work would involve and whether the fit is right. You will leave with more clarity about your situation regardless of whether we decide to work together.
If you have been asking yourself that question seriously, you probably are. Readiness in this work is not the absence of fear or uncertainty. It is the decision that the cost of staying the same has become higher than the discomfort of changing. The free assessment is a good place to start if you are not sure.

About the Assessment

A free, ten-minute diagnostic tool that measures where you currently are across the three disciplines of The Quiet Shift; nervous system regulation, identity development and self-leadership. It gives you three separate scores with detailed result profiles, and tells you precisely where the work needs to begin. No email required to complete it.

It is not required but it is recommended. Women who complete it before our call arrive with significantly more clarity about where they are, which makes the conversation considerably more useful.
